Title: Sausage Rack
Post by: Veejay on August 17, 2007, 12:01:27 PM
Does anyone know where I can find a sausage rack? Chez Bubbas is shut down and I would like to find one of these.

Those racks were made by a forum member SmokeHouseRob. He came into some personal problems, and he stopped producing them. Maybe someday when he gets back on track he will be able to start manufacturing them again.

The Sausage Maker sells hickory and metal rods. I like the hickory ones myself. I've also used hog rings as hooks and hooked them on the Bradley racks when hanging sausage.

Yep, they don't stay that way long. If memory serves correct, I believe that was the inaugural smoke for that unit.

Here's some Thuringer sausage with the hickory rods cut to fit. Is my smoker dark enough now?  ;D Yep, the above picture was the first smoke for that unit, some regular summer sausage.
