Well, thanks to everything I've read on this site over the past two weeks, I'm now the proud owner of a new 6 rack digital Bradley! I had a wood-fired Brinkmann for a few years, but wanted to step up-- and thanks to everything I was able to learn here, I feel I made the right decision. While I'm not a chef by any means, I LOVE smoked food, like ribs, brisket, etc., and jerky too. The Bradley will be perfect for me.
Was all set to buy one at Cabela's-- but saw Sears' website (while putting my Christmas tool list together!) that they offered Bradley smokers and accessories for 20% off, with free shipping. Done deal. Ordered on Wednesday, on my doorstep on Friday. Got a cover and 120 hickory pucks to start.
All I need now are the Bubba Pucks. Links or sources for these would be helpful!
Again, thanks for sharing your stories, gripes, friendship, and recipes. Bradley's best Sales Force is right here on the forum-- all of you.
Ed
Hi Ed and welcome to the forum!
Here is a link to a forum member's (begolf25) web site that sells the Bubba Pucks.

Another item you will find very useful is the Maverick ET73. It's a 2 prob thermometer that allows you to monitor the pit temp and the meat temp. Here is a link.

Welcome Ed. Just be careful who you tell when pulling food out of the smoker. People tend to get real friendly like when it comes to great food. :D Just make sure you keep a stash hidden for yourself. ;) Have fun.

Well, after a delay due to shortages at the warehouse, the smoker arrived Saturday afternoon. After the quick 10 minute set-up, I seasoned it with 1 hour worth of smoke, and due to the short notice, bought a 5lb. butt and some rub from the local market. After a night at the Brazilian BarBQ, a couple cigars, and a few beers, ok, a lot of beer, it was time to fire it up. It was cool down here in FL, so it took approx 30 minutes to pre-heat to 210, loaded in the apple & special blend, and put in the roast. Like a kid on Christmas eve, I wanted to sit and watch, but it was 1:30 and with a house full for the Pats/Colts game, I knew I needed to get to bed. About 10:00 a.m. Sunday I took out the butt and FTC. Then figured, hey, I have some susage in here. Put 4 hot and 4 milds in and fired it up again...
Lets just say the first project was a major success!!!
Thanks for all the tips on here, I'm taking in all the knowlege I can.
Hey Ice, how can I order some of your sauces, love the sound of that hot one?
Congrats on the success! Send Iceman a pm for his sauce. It is not actually hot. It does, however, have a mild kick as an after taste. Great stuff.
