Title: Newbie question on bisquet advance
Post by: rockmw55422 on March 09, 2008, 10:37:53 AM
I put in 3 of the bisquets to 'season' my new smoker. Are the bisquets supposed to advance all the way to the end of the drive arm? It looks like I need to have enough bisquets in there to push them far enough to the end.  Thanks for any answers.

Mike

Yes you need to put more pucks in if you only want to burn three. Many users buy 'bubba puck' to use for this reason. They are made of aluminum. Each time it advances it only will move one puck.

Hi rockmw55422 and welcome to the forum.

A lot of the members use the Bubba Pucks. You can get by with 2 but 3 is better. If you use 2 of them you will want to put a wood puck on top of them in the shoot in oder to push the first Bubba Puck onto the burner. You can get them from one of the members here on the site (BeGolf25 - Bryan) at http://www.yardandpool.com/home.php?cat=22

Some of the members have also made their own.
