Title: Pork Loin Awesome
Post by: commonsense on January 03, 2009, 06:25:55 AM
Last night I made a great pork loin.

I marinated it over night in a soy marinade.

Smoked for 3 hours, next time I'll only do two.

Cooked it til 155 and it was nice and juicy.

Took about 6 hours, cold in MN yesterday only about 8 degrees out when I was

smoking.  Had to finish her off in the oven.

Congrats, Commonsense!  Now, the question that begs to be asked:  "How do you feel about your purchase now?"   ;D ;D

A good smoke always seems to make those who were a little unsure feel pretty confident about their purchase.  A lot of folks will move to the oven as after the smoke has rolled, that's all the Bradley becomes (and not really a strong oven, especially at 8F).

Well done!

Duck- you are so right! Thats why I have two different smokers. Even in FL we get cold days in the winter, and need more power to finish.
