Title: More heat

I was wondering if any one is using a larger heating coil as it would be great to get the temp up faster when you have a large load in the smoker

Here is the link to the mod I did on mine. It basically adds an additional factory element thereby doubling the watts. It's a simple, inexpensive mod as well. If doing anything like this I would highly recommend using a controller such as a PID because the unit can raise temps fairly rapidly.
