Post by: NePaSmoKer on March 13, 2009, 08:15:53 AM
Here we have a 16lb turkey, all brined and going in the smoke. Getting hickory and pecan.  Had to smoke turkey before we left on vacation. Went in at 7:00 am

Thats a good price on the Lil'Tex. What you will get on those grills are the standard controler. high-med-smoke switch.

At this link http://traegeroutlet.com/home you can get digital controllers and they are very nice folks. Check out the site.

I have the Lil'Tex with the 180LV controller.

The guy on graigslist is probably legit, Its just weird he is on there trying to sell high end grills. Maybe they are blems? and still under warranty, BTW  Traeger is like Bradley. They stand behind their grills 100%

My first Traeger smoke today - halfway through.  Doing it here at the office.  Trying to earn some brownie points.  Liking what I see so far.  This thing will be fun to get to know.  Two beef chuckies on for 2.5 hours them boated.  Then putting on some burgers.  I forgot my camera today, so no pics.  Don't bite!
