Title: Chicken overload
Post by: FLBentRider on March 22, 2009, 06:24:16 PM
At 1400 today I put 8 chickens in my OBS. By 2100 they had reached an average IT of 133. My PID indicated a temp of 161 (setpoint was 225).

I think I put a little too much chicken in my smoker. I pulled them and realized that I wasn't sure they would fit in the oven either. I made them fit.

Just a little chicken origami.

They were on sale, so it was going to be a smoke / freeze them for lunches etc.

30 minutes in a 350F convection oven did the trick.
