First Smoked Ribs - My Birthday - A few Pics Included

Hey Arnie,
Question for you.  In the first pic where you're smoker is being loaded, there appears to be something protruding through your V-tray at the front corner of each side but when I look at your next pic, they're not there.  At first I thought you had your V-tray installed below the lugs and reinstalled by the time the second pic was taken but a closer inspection looks like it was properly installed in both pics. So what's up?

I see what you mean.  I had no idea the pics would be scrutinized so closely ;)

I think it's just a reflection, the brassy color coming from the flash and the ribs above.  The reflection is likely not there in the second pic because the drip dray is no longer very shiny.

That might explain it.  Thought you had some super-secret way of doing ribs you weren't telling us about. ;)

Good looking ribs Arnie, by the looks of every body's plate they were a hit.

There is a learning curve on doing ribs and it looks like your well on your way.
