Having read this thread from the biginning and just to hijack this thread again and bring it back to your marathin smoke. I just wanted to say that the best man won.

CRG I just wanted to admire HES for his perseverance. Heck if that had happenned to me (27 hours) I would have given up and ordered chinese.  :D

Guess I don't give up easy. After all of this, I just started a 13 lb brisket. Hope the cow was lazier than that pig was!  :D

The brisket sounds like a 24-28 hour cook Hawkeye.  I guess you have to plan ahead  :) 

I hope the cow wasn't doing the marathon with the pig  ;D
