I assume the assistant Jerkmeister whose picture is in this post helped you through the ordeal by bringing you beer??

I did about 10 lbs of top round recently to try out Hi-Mountain spice, but didn't use the BS...did the excallibur dehydrator.  Smoking it next time!

Nice pictures. Looks like your batch of jerky turned out great! How did your helper like the fresh out of the smoker samples? What kind of seasoning did you use?

Bill in response the jerky this was my 1st on the BS, It came out rather well, my grandson who was in the pics, loved it as did his little sister, she is 14 months old. She was running all over the place with it. I made it out of ground meat, I made the thin stuff, slim jims, and a 3/4 inch tube also, sure did make a mess in my machine with all that dripping grease. But we did enjoy it.

Jaeger I used high mountain, the pepper blend. I have a cajun blend I will try next time. I used to use the dehydrator but like the bs because of the smoke, I had it on about 3 hrs and 10 min, then left the fatter stuff on longer. Used some Herlockers dipping mustard to try and it was good. [^] How do you send the little moving charectors??? well going to watch some bb and enjoy some jerky and cheese.see you guys later and take care. Harpo[:o)]

I told you guys I ws new to this e-mailing pics to the site, after I did it initialy I went to the site that sends them and deleted them and it must have took them out so I went in and re-did them. so they might be on here more than once but I am getting better. Harpo
