My 4 rack was sitting in the driveway Friday night! After unpacking and plugging it in, it wouldn't start. The oven came on, but the pucks were just shooting out. One call to Bradley and they told me the problem. I opened up the control box and found 2 loose wires. Plugged them back in, and I was ready.

Season it Friday night!

Chicken and Pork Butt steaks Sat night!

Pulled Pork Butt Sun night!

Can't wait for this weekend! I'm hooked!

I think I started out a little backwards. The smoker was my last purchase. But so far I have only been making fresh sausage. The first thing the pusherman dropped off was a 1 hp grinder, then a stuffer and a mixer. They saw some action this year but now most of my wild game is gone (except for a little antelope).

I think the next fix will be some pulled beef.  8)  (where's the smiley face with a beer?)

MMM...  Pulled beef (I used chuck last time) is a favorite!

Pulled chuck is right up there with pulled pork and I cook it just the same in every way as pork butt.

I did a post on smoked chuck a little while ago..  Still have a pound in the freezer.   ;)

I vacuum sealed it in 1-2 pound bags and we ate on that for weeks.  Even took some on our Christmas vacation trip!   There is 1 lone pound of it left in the freezer.  Will probably break it out Saturday.
