Okay, here's my sales pitch: (I don't actually work for anyone affiliated with this Jerky Board and I don't sell it, I just really like it) for anyone interested in making beef jerky (what I call 'real' beef jerky, not skinless sausage) Hi Mountain makes a really good beef jerky cutting board. It is essentially just a regular cutting board that has raised edges. One side of the board is raised by 3/8" and the other 1/4". The cutting board comes with a very thin (thinner than a filleting knife), razor sharp knife. All you have to do is put the meat on the cutting board and put the blade of the knife on the raised edge of the cutting board (so you cut parallel to the cutting board) and slide the knife through the meat. The best part is that the board works best when the meat is fully thawed.

Here's a link to the Hi Mountain Product Info (I couldn't seem to link directly to the Jerky Board page but it's under 'kitchen aids'):

Not to sound like Ron Popeil, but using this board I get all my strips a uniform thickness (I prefer 1/4" thick jerky) and there is almost no mess or cleanup.

I use the board for chicken breasts for stuffing or tomatoes for burgers too.

The only word of caution is that the knife is not meant as a regular kitchen knife. If you use it too much for other things, it will become dull and not work well with the board.

That's all I have to say about that,

This board is limited when you use its //tags.%20If%20the%20address%20is%20to%20long%20it%20will%20not%20work.%20Either%20don't%20use%20this%20boards%20[url]%20tags%20and%20paste%20the%20whole%20address%20directly%20into%20your%20posting%20or%20modify%20the%20opening%20[url]%20tag.%20This%20is%20an%20example%20of%20modifying%20your%20[url]%20tag.%20It%20is%20a%20direct%20link%20to%20the%20item%20you%20wanted%20to%20post%20about.[url="http://shop.himtnjerky.com/cgi/cp-app.cgi?usr=50X7452715&rnd=5547629&rrc=N&cip=24.227.78.118&ad=bradleysmoker.com&pg=prod&ref=43&cat=6&catstr=HOME:6"]Direct%20Link

This is the whole address without using this board's [url] tags.

How to do this is listed below. The first part is how to do thumbnail pictures. The second one is how to modify the [url] to create the example I just did above.
Enjoy!
