I have seen some post of people saying they couldn't find Juniper Berries.

They are available thru Allied Kenco.

They run about $3.50 for a 2oz jar.

If I can help getting some to you, I will pick them up and revac seal and send them in

a USPS small packer box. You could probably get 4 to 5 vac pkgs in a box if you need that many.

I will be going back to Allied Kenco probably on Monday.

Are those things like blueberrys, meaning they go bad. (Fresh fruit kinda thing) or are they like a spice where they will stay good for a while?

I found them at whole foods.

Dried in a jar. Mine are at least six months old and so far so good.

I pick mine up from Penzeys Spices, they have mail order too.

Every grocery store here stocks them.  Can't have sauerkraut or a schlachtplatte without them  ;D

can one pick them from juniper bushes or cedar trees and dehydrate them to last all year?

What do you season with juniper berries, anyway?

What do you use that for?

If it is something I would use, I'll split it with you.

I put it in my dry rub, it also goes great on brisket or a steak.

It works great when your doing something dry that you want the taste.

Dont use allot but it hits the spot.
