They've got the tools to do this.

I got an email back from a local guy, and he charges $2 per (straight) kitchen knife for sharpening. Any length.  $2.50 if they are serrated.  $10 to do meat slicer blades.  (he didn't stipulate serrated or not for that one)

I"m going to drop a WHOLE bunch of stuff at his workshop next week..
