Buck,

Not an idiot, not a dumb question, just misinformed. I think a few others have seen pics of Humpa's smoker that he custom built & will accept the whole rack & assumed just as you did. No, our drying rack is just that, it will not fit in the Bradley unit.

It's designed to carry all your racks safely & conveniently to the smoker for transfer to the smoker all at once.

I'll retract any of the above if SmokehouseRob chimes in differently because he is the architect.[8D]

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?

Here's another DQ for you. I'm reading posts and trying to learn, and all the time I see reference to things like a Procom or GURU Raptor. The question is what are they, what do they do, why do I need one, and how do I get the Sargeant Major to approve the purchase?

They are temperature controllers so you don't have to monitor the Bradley.Check out www.thebbqguru.com.

Also there is another electronic controller. The link is below.

I have them both and prefer the one from cold fusion. It is extremely accurate.

Thanks for the info Car54. How difficult is it to install something like this on the smoker? I'm a gadget guy, I kind of like that wireless guru procom 4.
