I'm probably not the first to have this idea but I had a "BFO" (Blinding Flash of the Obvious) yesterday while preparing to use my OBS. I was about to put a couple of paper clips on a cooking rack (to hold a temp probe) when I noticed the metal clip holding the twin pack of roaster pans together.

Click on the PICS to enlarge.

Here you can see the clip in the center of the upper edge of the pans:

I just bent in such a way to hang under the cooking rack:

And here you can see them in action:

They worked out  great!  ;D

Now that's using you head.

I have used them also but drill a hole in the front side for the probe to fit thru and used two.

I like your idea better.

Now that's a thinking man!

Thanks! You just never know when a BFO hits you upside the head!

I just rigged up my own.  My foil pans don't come with a clip so I went ghetto Macgyver on this stuff.  I used binder clips and magnets so I don't have to unhook anything when I rotate racks.  It's what I had laying around.

I took a pci bay slot cover from an old pc case I have laying around and made it more convenient to stick and unstick.  I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Great idea...  I think I have a drawer full of those things.

I don't think those magnets will hold out over time due to the heat.

And fail they did. I tested it in the oven. Looks like it's just going to be binder clips.

Here are somethings around the House that you can use.

These are name badge clips. Just drill the plastic thingies that holds the badge.

This is a 1" L bracket that I bent.

Cut some pieces of tin and drill some holes in it.

This came with the Auber.

Small spring clips

And the ones that Test Rocket made.

You better buy an airplane cause you've got enough hangers for it.

Some people are like Slinkies... They're really good for nothing.
...But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

The badge holder hangers were the most fun to make.

One came from my Security Badge at Houston Intercont A/P

One came from Nasa clearance

One came from Boeings in Lake Charles

Hope I don't need them any more!
