I can't wait to try it.  Haven't had the chance to unpack it or my bubba pucks, briquettes, or anything.  Spent yesterday moveing 3 fridges.  Had a bass tourney tonight.  Hopefully this weekend I can get the OBS seasoned.  Great site and lots of good info.  Thanks to those that have PM'd me.

Welcome to the forum.

What is your first smoke going to be?

Welcome DADAKOTA,

So how did you do in the tournament?

DADAKOTA

Won the tourney.  Do most folks add the second heating element?  PID? etc.?

beefmann

congrats and  welcome to the forum

Congrats on the win! What's it take to win around there?

I have some buddies that fish a weekly tournament on Lake Guntersville and the last three weeks its taken 14-18 lbs (3 fish) to win. Some good fishing!

I added the second element after only 2-3 cooks and then got the PID for Father's Day. I'm real happy with my setup now!

DADAKOTA

We have a four fish limit and it has been taking 12 - 14 pounds to win it.

TestRocket

I bet you would love to have a 5 lb average? LOL

Lake Guntersville is full of weeds and some nice bass!

DADAKOTA

That wouls be fun.  We fish a little 1000 acre lake nearby.  Managed a 6 pound average a couple times in the spring on a stickbait, but we were just practicing and not in a tourney.
