I mixed some of this up the other day and can't wait to use it.

Wild Willy's Number One-Derful Rub

3/4 cup paprika (I used smoked)
1/4 cup ground black pepper
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup sugar (I used Demerara, it is a course grind sugar so I increased the measurment by 2 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 teaspoons cayenne

Uncle Pigfat

I made some of this tonight. I'm really excited. I used it to rub the brisket I'm smoking tomorrow night.

Good, I get get to feed off of your thoughts. ;D

It sure taste good dippin my finger in it.

Agreed.  I'm used to heavy brown sugar rubs and this was very light. It should lend itself well to the mustard coating I'm giving it before it hits the smoke.

I'm a fan.  The taste was great but I think the aroma while cooking was the best part.  I'll be going to this rub frequently.  Thanks for posting the recipe CRG.
