I smoked another 7-Bone Roast for pulled beef today.  I rubbed with the Salt Lick Clone rub and I wasnt disappointed.  It was a small roast (about 2lbs) and the cook took 8 hours and the IT was 204.  I usually would have pulled it out @ 200 but I was at a party and got back a little late.  I plan on doing this again for the FSO, so I hope ya'll like the post.
Rubbed with the Salt Lick Clone and got happy overnight

IT is at 150 and time for the texas crutch with a splash of beef broth

After 2hours FTC

It's pulled!

Nice!   How did the SLC come through after the cook?  I've found it mellows out a bit..

Is there really 7 bones in it??

Actually this roast had two bones in it and none were shaped like a seven....

The Salt Lick is awesome.  Great for beef.  I like that there is no sugar in it.

Try it on chicken. I did some thighs that were awesome.
