Most stores carry MTQ....Mortons Tender Quick, Depending on where you live.

If you let us know were you live, someone will come along and tell you where you can buy it close to you.

Nepa's have given you some good companies to buy from.

You should be able to get cure #1 at GM. Look for the LEM Cure packs.

Our Cabelas dont carry cure package alone, you have to buy a kit to get the cure.

I've been indoctrinated by 10.5 into believing Iowa was the center of the universe.  Or at least the corn-fed universe! ;D

My hometown Gander Mountain carries the LEM brand of cure #1 or pink salt.  Look for LEM Cure.  It will be in an envelope type package and will contain enough cure #1 to cure 25 pounds of meat. It is is not a whole sausage making kit.  Just contains cure #1.

Ask you local butcher for some, most of them are willing to sell you a lb for like $2, or buy a couple ounces for a buck.

Our local Fareway store carries it.. right below the regular salt....Cresco or Decorah might have it
