Since today was a good day for football, thought I'd make some pasta sauce since it takes a while to cook.

Here is the recipe I am using, so far this is the best of my "experiments":

Here are the ingredients:

The tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic in the oven for a roast

Done

Browned pork steak

Everybody in the pool to simmer for about 5 hours, stirring occasionally

Simmering in pot next to timer

How timer works: You take a sip, go watch football. When you are thirsty you get up and take a sip and stir the sauce. Go watch football and repeat. Replace timer as needed.

So in about 5 hours I'll put in jars and pressure can.

Sounds great. Been looking for a good pasta sauce recipe. Going to have to give this one a try.

Great looking recipe Gus.
My timer works a little bit different than yours though.
I fill my timer with rum and cola and take it with me.  :o
When it needs new ice cubes (which happens rather quickly) I stir the pot.  ;D
Bookmarked !!! That's a keeper for sure.
