Hey Nepas have you tried the newest flavor?

Natural Gas 4 burner stainless RED with auto-clean
2 TBEs(1 natural gas & 1 LP gas)
OBS(Auberins dual probe PID, 900w finned element & convection fan mods)
2011 Memphis Select Pellet Smoker
BBQ Grillware vertical smoker(oven thermostat installed & converted to natural gas)

Had me a couple slices of a Ruben Fattie with some cheesy rice stuff today.  ;D



Now that was gooood.

So how did it taste?  Was the pastrami masked too much from the ground beef?  Again man, it looks killer!
Is it bad if my wife refers to the smoker as "The Mistress"?

The pastrami didnt stand out like I had hoped but you could taste it, definitely needs more kraut and I think a little more thousand island dressing wouldnt hurt.

It was mighty tasty though.  :o

That Ruben Fattie looks great. I figured when I seen you making it there would not be enough thousand island dressing but you can always put some more on top after slicing. Maybe you can put some thin slices of pastrami on the ground meat mixture before the other goodies then roll it all together? Just tossing ideas around, I love Rubens! I bet it still tasted great. Nice job.  :)

I did mix 1/4 cup thousand island in the meat mixture along with the slather on top of the meat.

I muddle through about half of it and that was tough, i'm stuffed ;D excellent teriyaki though right outside fort lewis gates in Tillicum

Had them 24hrs in mojo, Cajun batter.... Lasted less then 5 minutes!

Had me some angel hair pasta covered with beer cheese and marina sauce along with a link of spicy Italian sausage and a couple dashes of some Seriously Hot Jamaican pepper sauce.



With the spicy sausage and the pepper sauce it definitely got my nose runnin and I started to break a sweat.  :o

I'm ready for a nap now.
