Hi John, is the shut off a resettable function or a dooms day scenerio when the temp hits 320?

The heating unit is supposed to come back on when the temp drops sufficiently below 320F.  When I asked Bradley Customer Service if the shutoff was defeatable, they said no.  It's there as an important fire safety device.
