Last night I started smoking three pork butts about 7 1/2 lbs each.  I did a different rub on each and let them sit in the rub for about 36 hours. Here is the lineup.

Gunpowder Butt inject with Gunpowder Sauce

Bad Bryon's Butt Rub

John Henry's Texas Pig Rub

They went in the smoker at 10:00 last night for six hours of Hickory at 220

Will update with more picks as things progress.

They are bricks, they help to keep the heat up when I open the door.

Are you planning in finishing them up in the Bradley or are you going to transfer them to a slow oven?  I'd be interested to know what your total time was.
There's room for all of God's critters right next to the mashed taters and gravy!

Finishing in Bradley, they are still cooking, will let you know.

All Pork Butt's are done pulled and in the refrigerator.  I cooked all Butts to a IT of 195 and FTC for 3-4 hours.  The first butt was done after 24 hours and was the Bad Bryon's Butt Rub.  I forgot to get a picture of it after FTC, but here it is after being pulled.

The next butt was done at 25 1/2 hours and was the Gun Powder Butt.  Here it is after FTC.

and here it is after being pulled.

The last butt was done after 27 hours and was the John Henry's Texas Pig Rub. Here it is after FTC.

after being pulled.

Had to take a sample of all three and I think there will be some satisfied people at the party today :)
I don't have a opinion of what rub I like the best yet, but will after some more sampling.  I didn't really notice a difference in the GP butt with injection, not sure the injection really did anything.
