Havn't seen much about a smoked chicken with barbeque sause. I know the skin wont get crispy like fried but barbeque usually dont anyway. Any one got a good recipe for a whole barbeque chicken or parts(leg quarters and breast) Like a start to finish if possible in my new smoker.

I only put BBQ sauce on wings but you could do the whole thing ifin you want.

I like to smoke for 2 hr in the Bradley then move to TBE and finish and after that I apply the sauce and lower back in TBE just long enough to set the sauce.

Keep an eye on it when you finish the sauce cause it will burn QUICK if you go get a beer.  ::)

Smokey BBQ chicken with a sorta crispy skin,,,,, dont get any better than that.

I second that. Smoke first then slather it it with BBQ sauce and finish it on the grill in case you dont have the TBE.
