smoking other fish ?

does anyone smoke other fish besides salmon and trout. we catch pike , bass and walleye here in wi. any thoughts. thanks

Of course, I've only smoked salmon and trout..so far.

I have smoked pickerel fillets (walleye if you are in the States) and they turned out fine. I did fillets because I had a bunch in the freezer - some had their skin on and some didn't. They are not as moist as the salmon or trout but hold the flavour well and the taste is good. They are almost like a jerky when done. It didn't deter anyone from eating it - they all said they loved it. I liked it because it wasn't as greasy. I am going to do another batch this week, for the same reason.
