Factory warranted the plastic part at the bottom of the door. When I took the old piece off, it was busted up all over under the cover. It takes a while to change out the plastic piece only because you have to remove the stainless inner skin.

Went to re-assemble, and one of the bolts that holds the top hinge was stripped out when I went to re-install the screws (I did not cross thread it either). There was also a few of the screws that hold the stainless liner that were stripped out, but probably not a big deal on the liner, but I do have a concern that the top hinge is going to work with only one screw that will hold.

I guess the only cure is to replace the entire cabinet outside skin or tap the hole for a bigger screw. Dont think a helicoil kit would work on such thin metal.

I've placed a toothpick in the screw hole at the same time I put the screw in.

Always works for me.
