In addition to the pulled pork I'm going to be making, I picked up some thick looking bacon from whole foods. I planned on just throwing this in the smoker with some smoke until it looks cooked. I kind of wanted to throw it in with the pork butt when I begin the first 4 hours of smoke, but I dont want to eat it until the pork butt is ready the next day. My question is, how do you warm up bacon? Will I be wasting it, and I'd be smarter to throw the bacon in after the pulled pork is finished and out of there since i'd need to add more smoke at the end? It would be cool if i could throw it i towards the end but then wouldt that be bad addiing more smoke at the end of the butt cooking?
