That turkey looks great. Have you ever pumped your turkey breast with a brine of some kind. We used to get a turkey pump kit from Spokane spice. They were water soulable spice blends that sure worked well. I like the smoke ring on your bird.  We used to do full turkeys around the holidays but have kind of gotten away from it.

Yes sir.

I do pump,,,,,the girls say it almost,,,,ALMOST,,,,,tastes like ham.  ;D

But not this one.

Only time I do a full turkey is when is time to make soup.

All the dark meat and the whole carcass go to make a killer soup,,,,,along with egg noodles.  ;)

We dont eat much dark meat around here.  ::)

I would fit in well at your place. I like the dark meat best. By the time we are done picking at a smoked turkey there is not enough left to make soup out of. We have done some for our New Years eve party and we have had guest take home the carcass to pick at and then make soup I guess?? ???
