G'Day,

Researching a purchase that I've been thinking about for a long time, glad I found this forum and the input from users.

Recently, attended a Music Poker session with my buddies and the host prepared a brisket with a pork shoulder in the smoker. Life changing food event, so it's my goal to get this going in a month.

A month from now you will be saying "Why did I wait a month?"

You will enjoy your smoker when you get it.

Welcome!  I was new last week too and with a lot of reading I feel prepared to jump in feet first in October when I have some time off school.  Everyone is very helpful and the recipes are great.  Have not seen a better forum anywhere about anything where everyone is kind and supportive.  Good luck!

Well, didn't work out that way. Just picked the unit up yesterday from Canadian Tire in Oakville and to my surprise when I arrived at the cash the OBS was 25% off. That helped with the PID purchase.

I think the hardest part is going to be getting a proper stand for the deck beside the BBQ.
