Well after yesterdays trail I decided to do some almonds and peanut with the Super Pig rub
Here is how I'm doing it.  Both Almonds and Peanuts are raw at this point

I put the almonds in a bowl and spraid with pam non stick spray

Next as I was mixing the almonds and pea nuts (in another bowl) around in the bowl I added the Super Pig Rub

Next I laid them out on a flat cookie sheet

Set the oven to 300 temp and will ck back in 1 hr to see how their doing

Here is the finish to the Super Pork Rub Almonds and Peanuts

Not bad but I need to add something to give it more of a candy finish. Not sure yet but will work on it.

If anyone has a suggestion let me know

Taking muebes advice I spritz the nuts with sugar water and tossed them around a little.  I did find I had to add a little sugar to them before they dried just to add a little more sweetness to them
Almonds were better then the peanuts

This was a good first trial run and I look forward to using this rub more in the future

NICE JOB!!!!

TMB - try dusting the Super Pig on Popcorn....gives you a "Southern Style Kettle Corn"...A little sweet - a little salty....some savory and some spicey flavors. REAL GOOD....
