If you mean into the smoking area of cabinet then no, they aren't.   They work great.  They are 1" x 1" door stops.

I would do the feet mod also.   My thinking is that because the plastic slider cover under the door supports the smoker and it's entire contents while loaded is cracking.

...   I had very even cooked breasts of different sizes without rotating the racks.

Now THAT is a very good point.  No need to rotate racks, which also means less need to open the door and lose heat.  I might just look into a fan install with my dual elements.

i have ran my 900 watt element and blower ... never have to open the  door unless im basting the meat or pulling it. great  even temp through out the box even  with a big load of 25 lbs of meat provide you  leave room for the air to circulate,,,, have had this mod for 5 years now and  love it...
