Smoked Western Ribs
« on: April 24, 2012, 03:34:46 pm »
Started some ribs to night. Cut them from a pork butt about 1 " thick. Rubbed in some Memphis rub to try. Slow cooked for 3 hours and tented with some Apple cider and the juices I caught form the ribs.     Cooked till the bone pulled out easy.. Took off foil and added a Texas sauce I got from my Christmas buddy for the exchange. Texas/Texas Good to the Bone BBQ sauce and grilling. Came out Delicious. Now my wife wants to try other combos. I guess since she uses Jans on every thing she does she wants to try mine different. LOL Sorry forgot pics but I did get one money shot I think. I will post it later.

Well here is what I did at the last minute remember. This is my plate, Fresh corn, homemade baked beans and ribs!

Here is a nice close up of the ribs!

And we finished them up in one sitting they were so good! Sorry I totally got caught up in the moment! If not for my wife reminding me I would not have had these.

Thanks Amigo I'm sure they will. For a pretty much no fail cooking use the 3-2-1 method. Never fails.
