Beans

Went to cook a pot of beans today .Put the beans on to soak got out the ham bone I had saved and found out it was gone sour . I thought all was lost as far as bean soup for supper . Then had a idea salted some side pork and cold smoked with hickery 1 hour 3 pucks worth . Used it instead of ham turned out great . just lucky I guess give it a try some time .TIM[:)]
