My USPS tracking says the package was delivered at 9am this morning.

When I did the tracking today for the package I sent I get:

"Your Item's Status: All sorting has been completed at the delivery unit for today's deliveries at 7:30 am on December 05, 2012 in (I omitted the city name).  "
You think they would just say " Out for delivery"..

Package was sent today from Alaska. Someone in the lower 48 will be getting it around Monday.  :)
