Chorizo, take 2

My first batch of chorizo turned out so well, I'm ready for more. 
I used NePa's recipe from this thread, Reply #8:

And here are the ingredients ready to go for a 1 lb batch.  I asked the wife where the white wine vinegar was--she said we don't have any.  Doh!  Oh well, I used red wine vinegar instead. 


Kirby's excel spreadsheet works great for converting recipes to weight, then making any size batch, such as this 1 pounder. 

In the morning, after enjoying chorizo and eggs, I'll make the remainder into patties, and freeze most of it for later use.

I want to make sure that we give credit where credit is due. Lon  [MTFIDDLER] developed the first version of the sheet and I added some improvements. This is not that difficult of a sheet but it sure does work well.

Thanks for clarification on the excel spreadsheet source.

Here's the results fried up with a couple eggs on the side.  Not as spicy as the other recipe I used, but still very good.

Nice job Drano, I read the ingrediants on my wifes store baught chorizo one time and have stayed clear since but this recipe might work.

This recipe is fairly tame, so give it a try.

Here's the 1 pound recipe, so get a pound of ground pork out of the freezer/at the grocery store, and mix it up.
