Cold smoking?

I'm 100% new to this so this iget be dumb, but it says my smoker can cold smoke? But I also see on the site there's a cold smoke attachment?

The easiest way to cold smoke is with the attachment or you can build your own.

You can cold smoke like it is but it will be a little difficult. Just run the puck burner and not the heating element. You can put ice in the bowl instead of water to help keep the temps down. You can also make sure the meat is cold when you start. Keep close track of the cabinet temp. If it gets too hot just open the door. Heat will rush out. You can also keep the door slightly ajar. All of this will work best on a cold day.

Some people freeze water in a container, and put in the smoker to keep the temps low.
