I have seen a few recipes in the forum for doing several hamburgers/hotdogs at a time with a hot smoke (Temp.?), possibly mesquite?  Any recommendations on the best way?

Some here would say cold smoke first then throw on the grill, other hot smoke.  As far as pucks, try them all.  Mesquite is very strong, maple in the middle , cherry alder on the light.  Beef can take alot of smoke, hotdogs not so sure.  I'd try everything you've got and have fun.
Grab me another stout, or scotch, or martini, or........

Heck yah. Try it either way and with different pucks. Hamburger and dogs are cheap to experiment with. I like cold smoke then grill but others? Just have fun.
