Ingredients:
1 cup + 4 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup Lawry’s seasoned salt
1/4 cup garlic salt
1/4 cup + 1 1/2 tsp celery salt
1/4 cup onion salt
1/2 cup paprika
3 Tbsp chili powder
2 Tbsp black pepper
1 Tbsp lemon pepper
2 tsp celery seed
2 tsp dry ground sage
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp dry ground thyme
1/2 tsp cayenne
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until well blended. Store in a cool area away from light in air tight jar or sealable plastic bag.

I encourage you to take time to look over the recipe site that Devo provided. This is the repository for recipes from many of the forum's most experienced smokers. Many of these recipes are more than a list of ingredients and mixing instructions. Included in the recipes are lots of smoking tips and technique suggestions from our resident experts.

Jan's rub is a winner, and so are the recipes on the recipe site, once you pick a recipe you can usually do a search on the forum and find 5-6 different posts with pictures from different members using the recipe.

And if you want the spicy version of Jan's Rub:
Ingredients:

I actually found

before I bought my smoker...and that site is one of the *many* reasons as to why I jumped into the world of smoking food. Jan's is an excellent rub.
