Well my second attempt. PL03 for 5 hours, smoke for 2. Turned out great, not perfect, but great !!

...you know,I still don't get it...I get some pretty meaty baby backs here and it's 2hrs. tops @ PL03 and 1/2hr. in the oven @ 225* saucing them up.Less time if the baby backs are on the small (less meaty) side. 8)

Dave, glad to hear that you're happier with your most recent batch of ribs.  Sometimes it takes a little practice.

One of the things that I do is write down what I did and slip it into a plastic page protector for a three ring binder.  This helps me remember what I did the last time and gives me a place to add notes as I refine the smoking process.  The page protector means I don't make a mess of the information I've recorded the next time I need to refresh my memory.
