Well tomorrow I am smoking about 8lbs of pork loin after not being able to smoke anything for almost a year cause of moving to a temp home while we built our new home.  This last winter I put mods into my smoker and now in my new garage I have it vented outside with an inline fan can't wait to see how this all works out

Fireguy, if you have a positive connection(sealed) between your smoker cabinet and vent pipe, the in-line fan may pull the smoke and heat out of the smoker cabinet. If that's the case and it gives you trouble, you could modify it similar to the exhaust of a gas water heater so that the fan will pull in room air with the exhausted smoke instead of pulling it through the cabinet.
Give a man a beer and he'll waste a day.
Teach him how to brew and he'll waste a lifetime.

No it's not totally sealed between its got a air gap so it only pulls what comes out the top vent
