Biscuets
« on: July 08, 2015, 01:29:38 pm »
Hi Guys
My BCS seems to have gone the same way as a few others here. Out of warranty now and being in the UK have no hope of a replacement.
Q Can I use the biscuets in a charcoal smoker

There are a few other members from the UK, maybe you can make a deal to sell your bisquettes. Just post that you are selling them in the BBQ or Food Processing Items

At one time Bradley was promoting that you can use the bisquettes in your propane and/or charcoal grill. I tried it a couple of times, it works to some extent. You can't put them directly on the heat source, or they will just burn. For my propane grill I place them in a smoke box, on top of my flavor bars. Also, you can place them on top of the grates, and they will provide some smoke, but it takes awhile for the smoking to start. That is the way you have to use them in a charcoal grill. Depending on how much smoke you want, you may need to stage the times you place them on the grill. For example, after the first bisquettes have burned for awhile, place new bisquettes on the grill top.
