I don't have a dehydrator but want to dehydrate some habanero peppers in the Bradley. Any recommendations as far as temps, times, etc.?

I have both dried and smoke-dried all kinds of peppers, although I Bradley-dehydrated only once and by accident.  I had everything sliced and ready to go and then realized that I was out of pucks.  lol

I kept the temp at around 140F and it took about 8 hours (4 full trays, rotated hourly-ish)

Oddly enough, smoking at the same temp is usually quicker (just over 6 hours)

I usually slice into quarters, or 1/2" wide for most peppers, but real meaty ones like standard bells, I go a bit narrower (1/4-3/8")

Enjoy!

I use a Mr. Coffee Dehydrator look alike I got it over 10 years ago from DAK and it still does a great job, two months ago I did 50lbs of Walla Walla sweet onions to make onion salt and it worked just fine.
