I have the Bradley original xlt have been smoking 2 5lbs shoulders since 2 am. The max temp I can get the smoker up to is 225. I am looking into a pid with dual heating elements. My question is with wiring the pid to the elements should it be wired in series or parallel?

I did the dual 500W element mod a few years ago.  My two elements are wired in parallel, with a pair of 3-4" loops of high temp wire joining them at each end.  I installed a PID controller (Auber SYL-2352) in the SG.  Not counting the cost of the second element, the rest of the project total cost was around $75.
