Welcome to the forum.
I recently learned that the newer models have an infrared sensor that is contained in that C shape block, that has replaced the micro switch. It could be the motor, and/or it could be something obstructing the movement of the arm and/or shuttle. If it is still under warranty contact Bradley customer service. During Covid times email is the only way to contact them. In the meantime check to see if anything is obstruction the movement of the arm or the shuttle.
