Weekend Smoke
« on: June 03, 2007, 01:00:57 PM »
Well, I had two projects to complete this weekend. Install our new dishwasher and smoke 4 racks of spare ribs I picked up last weekend. I don't think pictures of me putting in my dishwasher would be very exciting to you guys but here are a few of how the ribs turned out.

Trimmed up and ready for rub...

Rubbed up, two racks with Icemans rub and two with a rub from a local rib joint...

The finished product. Smoked with Pecan and Maple. The two rubbed with Icemans rub got some Sop'n Sauce of course, the other two racks I finished with some Sweet Baby Rays. It started to rain so I couldn't finish them on the grill so I threw them under the broiler for a few minutes.

Great looking ribs.  Automatic drool control fully engaged now to protect the keyboard.
May the fragrance of thin blue smoke always grace your backyard.

All that's missing is cold one or two go along with them. Great job.
