On this board there is no way to track any topic here. There should be an option in your Admin CP under Forum Control...

I'll look into it but make no promises as I am Admin by title, not by deed.

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?

Read son read.... there should be an on-board help section for admin.

Not that you can make any changes but the pre-view here is a pop-up. A smart file boy could hack out this board and give all of those here without proper protection the loose chits. How you ask? What would you have to do in order to get tagged? Just because it says "Preview" does not mean it does not also say when you click on Preview: "Yes download your virus with my permission into my system at the same time I preview this posting!"

In fact, I would have to turn off my protection to see the pre-view here~~! Which I don't and that is way I edit my postings so often.

Gamers ... don't ya just hate us? LOL~~! Setting a side the joking, pop-ups and JPG are becoming so hacked that the filters at the AFB blocks any in their E-mail! When I want to send a picture to SOCOM it has to be in a link so it is scanned before it is seen. On my original site they blocked the two pop-ups I had! Now no pop-ups!

For what it is worth I use Ad-Aware SE Plus w/ Ad-watch (worth its weight in gold) SP2 and Trend Micro (virus) and I have not had one problem since I reloaded my system and went with this combo.

OK, maybe I'm missing something obvious here, but when you say there is no way to track any topic, do you mean other than subscribing to it?

From the FAQ, here's the info. It looks like the feature is already enabled. At the top and bottom of each forum and thread, you will find an icon and link for "Subscribe to this Forum" or "Subscribe to this Topic". These will send you an email notification of any activity that occurs in the forum or thread you sucscribe to. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Can I be notified by e-mail when there are new posts?
Yes, the Subscription feature allows you to subscribe to the entire Board, individual Categories, Forums and/or Topics, depending on what the administrator of this site allows. You will receive an e-mail notifying you of a post that has been made to the Category/Forum/Topic that you have subscribed to. There are four levels of subscription:

- Board Wide Subscription
If you can subscribe to an entire Board, you'll get a notification for any posts made within all the forums inside that board.

- Category Wide Subscription
You can subscribe to an entire Category, which will notify you if there was any posts made within any topic, within any forum, within that Category.

- Forum Wide Subscription
If you don't want to subscribe to an entire Category, you can subscribe to a single forum. This will notify you of any posts made within any topic, within that forum.

- Topic Wide Subscription
More conveniently, you can subscribe to just an individual topic. You will be notified of any post made within that topic.
Each level of subscription is optional. The administrator can turn On/Off each level of subscription for each Category/Forum/Topic.
To Subscribe or Unsubscribe from any level of subscription, you can use the "My Subscriptions" link, located near the top of each page to manage your subscriptions. Or you can click on the subscribe/unsubscribe icons ( ) for that Category/Forum/Topic you want to subscribe/unsubscribe to/from.

Chez moved the posting to this board. On the board I originally posted this that option is not turned on.

Hi Kirk
Slightly off topic, but could you tell me exactly what the gold, green, blue, etc stars mean in the member lists? I seem to have been promoted![?]
Thanks
