Almost dinner time...3 lb top round roast all seasoned up.



Out of 3 hours of mesquite smoke



And into the oven with some stewed tomatos

Looks good WTS.  How long in the oven?  More importantly, how did it taste?

At first all I saw was beef jerky.   ;D

I would also be interested in the oven time and how tender did it get from that time?

4 more hours in the oven @ 250 was shooting for IT of 140 got side tracked and hit 150, pulled and rested for a bit.  Turned out nice, but not as rare as I would have liked.
Plated up with jalapeno sausage and boiled potatos with cabbage

I wish 10.5, I haven't gotten that brave yet!  But I keep seeing the post of people doing it I may have to give it a try.  This is made here local and is darn good, 2.5 lbs for 6 bucks.
