I just bought my new Bradeley smoker and have never smoked a briskett.  How long do i smoke it for and how long should i cook it for?  I smoked some ribs the other night and they came out ok.  Please help!!

Welcome aboard.  I am not even going to attempt to answer your question because there is this guy named WestTexasSmoker who lurks around here quite often.  HE is the KING of briskets.  He will be along shortly to tell you how to make the best brisket in the world.  He only has one problem.  He likes mesquite.  I mean he likes it a lot!!!(Sorry WTS!)  Disregard his rantings about mesquite.

I just did one with Hickory the other night.  My adventure was documented here http://forum.bradleysmoker.com/index.php?topic=8602.0 Everyone on the board was very helpful.

Using mesquite isn't quite the sin that we make it out to be......we just like to give WTS a hard time about it.  ;D
