Nice batch of wings off to the smoker for an hour's worth

Then into WTS wing sauce

And off to the BE for a finish

I did'nt get the final pic, pulled them out of the BE and coated with more sauce, and started playing with the grandbaby.....next thing I knew the wings were almost gone! Kids kinda like this one!  ;D

WTS, I am in awe!  I have been making wings off and on for the last couple years but you are clearly pushing the limits in a good way!  That picture of the wings on the BE rack will provide much future inspiration.  The wife says AMEN!!!

Gizmo

Those wings got to be done by now.  We need more pictures.   ;D

Wings look great!  ;)

I've been doing lots this way as well. What I have discovered is the very lowest level doesn't cook as quickly in the BE. I see you use 6 levels same as I do but what I have done is use a rack on the very top of the basket and not use the very bottom level. This works very well.

Melted down, then 1 can tomato sauce, garlic, pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, chili powder, salt, hot sauce, splash of lemon juice, lime juice and bourbon.  Bring to a simmer!  Done!

Ky....we don't use the devil's crap either....oh...wait....that's not what you meant....you meant the "wood of which we shall not speak"...oh sorry WTS....

The wings look mighty tasty....gotta go with god's wood tho...(that would be hickory)

I must admit....I will use "it" (the M word) on my next brisket... (Gizmo taught me it's not...THAT BAD) Actually we wouldn't let him leave with ANY brisket that he brought!!!

Ya got the smoked pistacios too, but if I remember NePa's son got the rest of the jerky if there was any.

This is the first time I have seen that.  That looks really nice.  I have a turkey fryer but don't use it much because of the mess.  Looks like I will be saving up for another toy!!!  How do the wings come out of it?  Are they similar to deep frying?
